How do I record my first analysis?

Open Posely, tap the Analyze tab, and follow the on-screen camera guide. You'll need a stationary trainer, a phone tripod or stable surface, and someone (or a timer) to start recording. Position the camera at hip height, perpendicular to your bike, and pedal at a steady cadence for about 20 seconds.

Why are my measurements different from a professional bike fit?

Posely is a screening tool, not a replacement for a professional fit. Our analysis covers knee, hip, and back angles from a side-view video, but it does not measure cleat position, foot rotation, leg-length differences, or pressure distribution. For persistent pain, chronic issues, or competitive optimization, please consult a certified bike fitter.

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. All pose analysis happens on your device using Apple's neural framework. Videos never leave your phone. Only the resulting numerical measurements (angles, recommendations) are stored in your account so you can access your history. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Go to Settings → Account → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. If the issue persists, email us with your Apple ID email and the approximate purchase date.

I purchased Premium but premium features aren't unlocked.

  1. Tap Restore Purchases in Settings.
  2. Make sure you're connected to the internet.
  3. Force-quit the App and reopen it.
  4. If still locked, email us your Apple receipt or Order ID from your Apple ID purchase history.

I want a refund.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your Posely purchase, and select "Request a refund."

How do I delete my account?

In the App, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm. This removes your data from our servers. See the Delete Account page for details.

The App says my video can't be analyzed. Why?

Does Posely work without internet?

Pose analysis runs offline on your device. However, signing in, syncing your fit history, and verifying your Premium purchase require an internet connection. Once signed in, you can analyze videos in airplane mode and your data will sync next time you're online.

Which iPhones are supported?

Posely requires iOS 16.0 or later and works best on iPhone XS or newer. Older devices may experience slower analysis or reduced accuracy due to the on-device pose detection requirements.
